AI Copilot

Generate demos from URLs, auto-place hotspots, write copy, and get flow suggestions with AI Copilot.

AI Copilot accelerates demo creation by generating steps, writing annotations, and suggesting user flows directly from your product.

Generating a demo from a URL

  1. Click New Demo and select Generate with AI.
  2. Paste your product URL.
  3. Choose which pages or flows to capture (or let Copilot auto-discover them).
  4. Review the generated steps and publish.

Copilot navigates your product, captures screenshots, and creates an initial demo flow. You can edit everything it produces.

Auto-hotspot placement

When Copilot generates steps, it analyzes each screenshot to identify interactive elements -- buttons, form fields, navigation items -- and places hotspots automatically. Hotspots include:

  • Click targets -- Buttons, links, and interactive elements
  • Tooltips -- Contextual explanations for UI elements
  • Input prompts -- Pre-filled example data for form fields

To adjust placement, drag any hotspot or delete it and add your own.

Copy generation

Copilot writes annotation text, tooltip content, and step descriptions based on the UI context. You can:

  • Accept the generated copy as-is
  • Edit inline with the text editor
  • Ask Copilot to rewrite with a different tone (formal, casual, technical)
  • Provide brand guidelines for consistent voice

Flow suggestions

After generating an initial demo, Copilot suggests additional flows based on your product structure:

  • Onboarding sequences
  • Feature-specific walkthroughs
  • Common user journeys

Select a suggestion to generate a new demo branch from that point.

Editing assistance

While editing any demo, open Copilot from the toolbar to:

  • Rewrite selected annotations
  • Suggest where to add or remove steps
  • Generate alternative hotspot labels
  • Translate content to other languages

Note: Copilot is available on all plans. Starter plans include basic generation; Pro and above include copy generation, flow suggestions, and editing assistance.
