Messaging Integrations

Get demo engagement alerts in Slack and Microsoft Teams.

Connect Slack or Microsoft Teams to receive real-time notifications when prospects engage with your demos.

Slack integration

Setup

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Slack.
2. Click Connect and authorize Demoship in the Slack OAuth flow.
3. Select a default channel for notifications.
4. Choose which events trigger notifications.
5. Click Activate.

Channel configuration

You can route different notifications to different channels:

• #sales-alerts -- High-value prospect views and completions
• #demo-activity -- All demo views and engagement
• #team-updates -- Demo creation and sharing activity

Configure channel routing in Settings > Integrations > Slack > Channels.

Notification content

Slack notifications include:

• Viewer name and company (if identified)
• Demo title with a direct link
• Engagement summary (steps viewed, time spent, completion)
• CRM record link (if CRM integration is active)

Microsoft Teams integration

Setup

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Microsoft Teams.
2. Click Connect and sign in with your Microsoft account.
3. Select a Teams channel for notifications.
4. Choose notification events.
5. Click Activate.

Teams notifications contain the same information as Slack notifications and support the same channel routing options.

Notification events

Configure which events send notifications:

• Demo viewed -- Any demo view
• Demo completed -- Viewer reached the final step
• High engagement -- Viewer spent more than a threshold time or viewed multiple demos
• New viewer from target account -- A viewer from a company on your target account list
• Demo shared -- A team member shared a demo

Per-demo overrides

Override workspace-level notification settings for individual demos:

1. Open the demo and go to Settings > Notifications.
2. Toggle specific events on or off.
3. Select a different channel if needed.

Note: Messaging integrations require a Pro plan or above.
