CRM Integrations

Connect HubSpot or Salesforce to sync demo engagement data, map fields, and score leads.

Connect your CRM to automatically log demo engagement on contact and deal records.

Supported CRMs

  • HubSpot -- Free and paid tiers
  • Salesforce -- Enterprise Edition and above

HubSpot setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > HubSpot.
  2. Click Connect and authorize Demoship in the HubSpot OAuth flow.
  3. Select which HubSpot objects to sync (Contacts, Companies, Deals).
  4. Configure field mapping (see below).
  5. Click Activate.

Salesforce setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Salesforce.
  2. Click Connect and log in to your Salesforce org.
  3. Install the Demoship managed package when prompted.
  4. Select objects to sync (Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities).
  5. Configure field mapping.
  6. Click Activate.

Note: Salesforce integration requires a Salesforce admin to approve the connected app. The managed package adds custom fields and an activity timeline component.

Map Demoship engagement data to CRM fields:

Add custom mappings in Settings > Integrations > CRM > Field Mapping. You can map to any standard or custom field in your CRM.

Activity logging

Each demo view is logged as an activity on the matched CRM record, including:

  • Demo title and link
  • Steps viewed and completion status
  • Time spent
  • Viewer device and location

Lead scoring from demo engagement

Use demo engagement to adjust lead scores:

  1. In Settings > Integrations > CRM > Lead Scoring, define scoring rules.
  2. Example rules:
    • Demo viewed: +5 points
    • Demo completed: +15 points
    • Multiple demos viewed: +10 points per additional demo
    • Demo shared internally: +20 points
  3. Scores update in your CRM automatically as engagement occurs.
