Password Protection

Restrict demo access with passwords, expiration dates, and access controls.

Control who can view your demos by adding passwords, setting expiration dates, and restricting access.

Adding a password

  1. Open the demo and go to Share > Access.
  2. Toggle Password protection on.
  3. Enter a password.
  4. Click Save.

Viewers who open the demo link are prompted to enter the password before they can view any content.

Expiration dates

Set a demo link to expire after a specific date:

  1. In Share > Access, toggle Expiration on.
  2. Select a date and time.
  3. After expiration, viewers see a message that the demo is no longer available.

Expired links can be reactivated by setting a new expiration date or removing the expiration entirely.

Access controls

Beyond passwords and expiration, you can restrict access by:

  • Email domain -- Only allow viewers with specific email domains (e.g., @acme.com)
  • Email allowlist -- Restrict to specific email addresses
  • Require identification -- Viewers must enter their name and email before viewing (no password needed)

These options are configurable per share link. A single demo can have multiple share links with different access settings.

View all active share links for a demo in Share > Active Links. For each link, you can:

  • See view count and last accessed time
  • Revoke access immediately
  • Update password or expiration
  • View engagement data for that specific link

Audit trail

All access events are logged. In the Shares tab, filter by:

  • Access granted vs. denied
  • Password attempts
  • Expired link visits

Note: Password protection is available on Pro plans and above. Starter plans can use the Require identification option for basic access control.
